Generative AI

Generative AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that can create new content, including text, images, music, code, and other forms of data, by learning patterns from existing examples.

Generative AI models use complex neural networks trained on vast datasets to understand and replicate the patterns and structures within their training data. These systems employ various architectures, with transformers and GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) being among the most popular approaches.

The technology works by processing and analysing massive amounts of existing content to learn the underlying patterns and rules that govern different types of media. When given a prompt or input, these systems can then generate new, original content that maintains the learned characteristics whilst being unique and previously unseen.
