Infrastructure

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is a technology that delivers various computing services—including servers, storage, databases, networking, software and analytics—over the Internet (“the cloud”) rather than via local physical hardware.

Cloud computing allows individuals and organisations to access and use computing resources on-demand without directly managing physical infrastructure. The service operates on a pay-as-you-go model, enabling users to scale resources up or down based on their needs whilst only paying for what they use.

This technology fundamentally changes how businesses and individuals approach IT infrastructure by eliminating the need for large upfront investments in hardware and ongoing maintenance costs. Cloud providers maintain and update the infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and regular updates whilst providing users with access from virtually anywhere with an internet connection.
